THE HUNTING SAFARI
(season from 1 February until 30 November)
•
Hunting is done on foot with shooting sticks - the ethical
way.
•
We have made hunting our business for over 70 years.
•
In season we offer excellent wing shooting.
•
Recommended calibre: 7mm or 300s, 338 Win Mag, 375 H&H
and about four packets of corresponding ammunition.
It is
most important that you are familiar with your weapon and
have confidence in its performance.
•
A variety of firearms are available for rental.
•
Clothing: Olive green or Khaki shirts, trousers, shorts,
hat and jacket, as well as flat soled boots and shoes as
they are generally lighter and quieter when stalking game
(no need to bring too much clothing, as we offer a daily
laundry service)
•
All hunting vehicles are fitted with two-way radios.
•
Our areas are never over-hunted, as we take a maximum of
one or two hunting parties per month.
Therefore we can give you our full attention during your stay.
•
All professional hunters in our employ are born and bred in Africa and have an
intimate knowledge of the bush and its animals.
• Over 40 000 acres private hunting grounds and over 2 500 000 acres concession
areas
•
For those who wish to fly-camp and hunt in other concession areas, where animals
such as Waterbuck, Cape & Livingstone Eland,
Mountain & Burchells’ Zebra,
Blue & Black Wildebeest, Impala, Damara Dik-Dik or Klipspringer etc. should
plan a good 14 days hunting
safari, depending on the amount of animals to be
taken.
•
Trophies will be prepared by us in such a way that they are ready to be taken
to the local taxidermist of your choice.
That company will also arrange for shipment
and necessary documentation.
Please note that it is not possible to take along
trophies as personal baggage when travelling by air due to
Namibian Veterinary
regulations.
